I slept under the stars - no tent - to save weight. These rock shelters have been built by hikers over the years to protect them from the winds. I slept very comfortably - no doubt in large part due to sheer exhaustion! But I really enjoyed opening my eyes every few hours throughout the night, watching the stars, and listening to the howling wind. It was magical.
