This the view into Saline Valley after a short climb into the Cottonwood Mtns. We crossed from the Racetrack through the much-touted Lippincott pass. The road is not even listed on the park map. In a 4x4 book it is described as requiring expert 4x4 experience. I'd say it was a 2 out of 5 difficulty trail, mostly because it was very narrow and a blowout could be catastrophic in a few areas. We finally managed to escape the crowds and park rangers.
